Infant Feeding Support

At Priority Care Pediatrics, we believe breastfeeding provides the best nutrition for infants and offers many benefits for both babies and mothers — including immune protection, bonding, and long-term health. We encourage exclusive breastfeeding for at least the first six months of life when possible and are here to help families reach their feeding goals.

We also recognize that breastfeeding isn’t the right choice for everyone, whether for personal, medical, or practical reasons — and that’s okay. Our team provides nonjudgmental support and expert guidance for all feeding choices, including bottle-feeding and combination feeding, to ensure every baby gets the nourishment and care they need to thrive.

Our IBCLC lactation consultants and registered dietitians help families throughout Kansas City with breastfeeding support and pediatric nutrition counseling.
